CHD Meridian Healthcare, an I-trax company, is aiming to provide accurate, point-of-care medication dispensing to patients at its on-site health centers using TouchScripts, an e-prescribing solution supplied by healthcare solutions provider, Allscripts.

Health records infomediary technology company I-trax says TouchScript offers physicians a fast, safe and reliable solution for writing electronic prescriptions. With more than 180 employer-sponsored on-site health centers throughout the country, the company says CHD Meridian's physicians will be able to provide accurate, point-of-care medication dispensing to their patients.

TouchScript is designed to enable physicians to write and fill prescriptions for the industry's top 50-100 drugs during the patient visit, simplifying and streamlining the prescribing process and helping physicians enhance patient safety, and improve health center efficiency.
