Allscripts To Participate in Two Studies CHICAGO, IL, (NAMC) – Clinical software provider, Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX) has been chosen to participate in two studies involving electronic prescribing standards.The two research teams pilot test as being funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Both projects will be administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. According to the company approximately $6 million has been allocated for these test with the goal being improved healthcare through the use of technology. Allscripts closed at $17.47 on Monday.
